I haven't watched the video all the way through but I tried following your chart like this: I have a QB and his current overrall is at 4 1/2 stars as well as his potential(basically he's maxed) and he has a round 1 pick value. Based on the chart, it's recommended that I trade him, but why? I feel like it would be better to keep him, could you explain the reasoning for this? Edit: I forgot to say, My QB is 22 years old and he has a perfect condition and morale, my question really is, what exactly is the point of the chart, is it trying to help me get 5 star players or better roster opportunities?

I'm QUITE late and you probably don't have the qb anymore, but the chart is for if you want to make a trade. If not, keeping him as a franchise qb is good, but if you wanted draft picks that's what the chart is for

I’d honestly trade them away in most cases. The value they provide is trivial, unless you’re going run heavy, or need the extra fraction of a second for passing

I have a DB that's a current 2nd rounder but a team has offered a trade for a 1st round pick. I want to take that trade but I'd like to keep the player just one more week. Will the opposing team rescind the offer if I continue into the next week? It's currently week 7 so if the offer will still be there if I play another week, that's what I'd like to do. There's no hope for him to level up into a 1st rounder before the deadline so I only have a short window to take this arbitrage.

I think trades should happen at age 30 (or age 29 if your contract is expiring that time), because then you can avoid the decrease, or even earlier if you promoted the trade value and would like for a extra potential player, (4 star potential mostly to aim for 5 star potential dudes).
