With the 3 builds to mimic Revan the one based on forcepowers is OP. If you whant a more easy playthrough in the end you need less melee combat because the force is strong in this one.

I had hoped it would have been better than the book saying the Exile was a specific person and setting a brick hard narrative that, in my opinion, takes away from the player's choices. I very much enjoyed that you could correct Atton about Revan and set several stages of recurring characters. I was hoping you could do the same in Kotor 3 about the Exile, and give a basic description so if you run into the character, they meet your expectations. I loved how my Good Revan's choices were in the "Revan Male, Good Character" updates and recalled the original game, and likewise, share his return fall to power if he/she was dark. I do know that the third game would do this, and would likely have you invested in the Sith Emperor that Revan was seeking. I personally love how bleak Kotor 2 was, however, it really needed a conclusive game that took you beyond the outer rim. Would have been epic.
@wallamazoo012 жыл бұрын
Adding to this, if Revan was Good, Kreia has some comments as to Revan's choice to convince Pall's return to the Light and be redeemed. You can side with her, or disagree for respective points towards light or dark.

Interesting thing happened in my 2nd playthrough. I didn't put any points into persuade so I couldn't turn Ajunta Pall back to the light. When I went into KOTOR 2, Kreia says that Revan made Ajunta Pall's soul suffer oblivion since he wasn't "saved". So the game subtly knew what choices I made from my KOTOR run. I thought that was kinda cool for 2 old games.

Great video Dash. Korriban is a nice place to have lore. Nice to see the dark side route, since i usually take the light side path. I didn't know that Shaardan could be killed by Uthar. I like to keep the swords even if i don't use them, so i always kill Shaardan (and he gives also exp). It was cool to see the ghost of an ancient sith. I did feel bad for Ajunta Pall and so lead him back to the light side (although Kreia would not approve). I would have like to see maybe some more ghost like Marka Ragnos(because of jedi knight academy). I usually have Carth to complete his personal quest about his son and Juhani for her friend in Korriban, and i think Carth does interact with Ajunta Pall. Have a nice day/night.(depending of the time zone and the moment you read the comment)

I did wonder if the other party member could interact with Ajunta Pall, so thanks for the info. I like to have Jolee Bindo and HK-47 for some funny dialogue with the group of sith recruits when you arrive ( they insult the recruits if i remember correctly), then have Carth and Juhani in the sith academy. It would be cool to have all the companion at once, just to see all the interactions they have. Have a nice day/night. ( i like to put this in case if i don't reply and i like to try to be polite, although it might be redundant if i reply a lot)

I did feel sorry for Ajunta Pall who must have spend centuries in his tomb regretting the things he did in life, but after playing through the old republic i wondered if Revan never entered his tomb telling him to go back to the light imagine if the Sith Inquisitor was able to use force walk to bind Ajunta Pall's spirit to themself like he or she did with other spirits
@kylecochrane44503 жыл бұрын
Yes it is true that his sword drove Ajunta Pall and others to madness but you have to remember that in the old republic that blade likely isn't in his tomb anymore or is still in his coffin so it's not impossible to stay the Inquisitor from the old republic storyline could have used force walk on him/herself binding the ancient sith to them like they did with so many other spirits the ability is about bending the spirits will to your own if you want their full power while willing spirits only gives you a fraction of their power

I wrote this comment on reddit as well. I'll put it here since said thread is already a day old and probably isn't getting any new eyes, but this comment section will: "Okay, since you asked here's some serious feedback. The production quality is pretty good. To be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised. When I see videos on lore posted to my niche-ish video game subreddits, there's usually a lot wrong with basic things like audio quality. Not so much here, very nice sounding narration. Although another user did mention that the video aspect ratio is stretched, I'm not sure I notice that? But if it is stretched, you should fix it. The video intro is good, but then you go into talking with Galon Lore, and I already dislike how it's handled. If this is a lore summary, why go into a long discussion with a minor character? You can perhaps describe anything essential from Galon Lore, or even show a short clip of him saying "These ruins date back to a period when the Sith were first formed, before their exile to the deep reaches of space... this may well be the tomb of Ajunta paul!... blah blah sword blah blah" (you get the idea). Anything more I think is unnecessary, not to mention that it's a little disjointed to hear you narrating the PC's lines when you also narrate the video. And that critique kind of applies to the rest of the entire video. I just see so much unnecessary stuff to describing Revan's/Ajunta Pall's story. Narrating how Revan opens containers for loot, how mission opens doors, how you attack enemies, etc. I think it would be much stronger if you really kept out anything that's game focused. You can still show/describe the tomb, but don't take any longer than 60 secs on it. Show revan walking the long hallways, opening doors, disarming mines, destroying droids. Anything more is superfluous. The discussion with Ajunta Pall should be the focus of the video. Ideally you should be 2 minutes or less in when you talk with him... not 8. Again, we've got the issue of how Revan's voice shouldn't be the same as the narrator's (yours). You could find a friend to do it, but I'd suggest just cutting out Revan's line and stitching together Ajunta Pall's lines to form a coherent narrative (sidenote: logistically this is helped by KOTOR. To save money, Bioware tried to very frequently have the same response from NPCs work for a variety of player lines in order to save money on VO. To do so, the NPC response often restates the important information, meaning you don't need to hear the PC's side to know what was said). You can include most of his lines, but a few are superfluous (like him describing himself as "ancient"). Cut out the riddle and just show Revan giving the correct sword, and then redeeming Pall, or defeating him. I think you get my critique by now. Cut out as much of the Shaardan conversation as necessary as he's a minor character, show Revan returning the sword for prestige, done. I think a lot of potential viewers will tune out early on in the video after a couple minutes when they see nothing yet of Ajunta Pall, and they see how long the video is overall. I know I did. The issue I have with it is of video style, that's a fundamental that's hard to fix especially from one comment from someone anonymous on the internet. It just feels like you're trying to be both a lore video and a lets play video? It's unique, but it seems like a format that is worse than either. A lore video, which is definitely what I'd advocate for, is much shorter and succinct and focuses on story and not on the gameplay at all. A lets play video would be of similar length but much less edited, and would show the game as the developer intended. While I'm not a fan of Lets Play content for single player games, when they are good it's because they feel like you're on the couch watching a friend play the original thing, the personality of the friend/lets player is paramount to the experience. This crossover style video cuts out the concept of the lets player as a personality entirely. Regardless, your production quality is good and so I think your channel has a lot of potential. Hope this was helpful."
