There is a very strong point to be made that constant approaching lowers your reputation unless you are doing it away from other humans. Anyone that you know sees you rapid approaching, you take a reputation hit. The reputation hit then makes it harder. The cycle repeats. "Guard reputation at all costs" - Some Chinese guy

What one should look out for are negative signals not positive ones. Even neutral ones are essentially positive. I used to fanatically believe that choosing signals are the be all end all of cold approach. But this mentality is self-limiting, as you pass on many potential dates and those signals can be misinterpreted as a false positive.

agreed but the neutral once aren't such good leads as the ones who give good direct signals. But the neutral ones often need just a bit more 'convincing' If you are good in the middle part of game you can turn neutral ones into good leads.

The ability to "read" people is more important than the number of times you cold approach. About once a month I eat lunch with a group of friends. There is this one guy in the group, and he is super desperate for female attention. Everytime a woman walks by ( walking to or from the restauraunt) he tries to talk to that woman. Every time, he is ignored. The guys in the group keep encouraging him. No one has the heart to tell him, he is too unnattractive and the women are not interested. If women like you, there will be signs, if women do not like you, there will be signs.

Good topic and glad to see you back. Imo, waiting for choosing signals works for very high SMV guys. Most normies blend into the background and will have to approach without previous signals, or sit out around and maybe approach 1-2 girls a month if that. Specially if they want cuter girls who get more attention. It’s like the job market. A rockstar marketing guru can afford to rely on shoulder taps from his VP and/or headhunters throwing 50% raises. But if you are a normal guy, you have to polish your resume, network and apply proactively.

5'12" shortlet here, only good area is my peepers, and I'll say it now yes, it is quite rare to get approached, but keep your environment in mind too. Where I live, the vast vast majority of women think they are made of gold and angel dust, so even if they like you they will not even look at you unless you worship the ground they walk on. If you're a sub8, my suggestion is to keep your dignity. They are definitely making fun of you if you are desperate, take it from me, 50% of the girls I speak to tell me shit like "oh look he's calling me again, he's saying all this weird stuff haha". It's really brutal, but thank GOD I'm on the other end now. Can't help but feel sorry for the hungry though. The world really does suck sometimes.

99.99% of women who are attracted to me and I have caught looking at me weighed like 400 pounds. I would end up matching with them on dating apps especially after being on one for a month and seeing "you have 100 matches waiting" and then swipe right on every profile out of frustration only to find my matches are with women who weigh 5 times my body weight. Then I delete the app and never use it again LOL. The reality is if you are an average/unattractive guy that will be the best you can pull. Mind you I am bald and not muscular anymore...I have that 30 year old guy look. I dont really care because I had this issue even when I was in shape and a bit younger (only attracting fat bodies when I had an athletic body). I would rather pay for sex at this point its easier in my position and far less depressing considering what my prospects are LOL. You attract people at or slightly below your looks level is my theory and in my case fat women are my looks level as a result of me being shorter (5'10") and bald. Some old lady once told me that you are what you attract LOL. People have always been brutally honest with me about my prospects. Some even saying "bro if all I could get were fat overweight women I would go for it"....I would rather rope maxx into the next life LOL. Nah I will pay for staceys for sex rather than date my looksmatch. I would say overall if you can attract average or attractive women here giving you signals and there then it might be better to go for them. They are usually pretty good at giving you signals and making it easier for you so you dont have to play games. Most of my friends met women this way and through other friends. Most of these same women try matching me with their fat overweight girlfriends which I tell them no thanks I am not interested in LOL. I just tell them I like being single to avoid an awkward conversation, but I tell some of my friends the truth. I would rather go without than date overweight or obese women. Or I say I would rather pay for the experience as opposed to dating/hooking up with women on my looks level.

I honestly think if a guys TOO good looking the majority of girls will be too nervous to approach. Imo a guy who is really attractive but more common will be approached more than a guy who looks like a total Greek God. I need help man, I'm 15, 16 in January. I'm Norwood 3.25 hairline, I used to get women's attention because I was around an mtn with decent appeal, but ever since my balding - leading to an atrocious bowl cut.
