I like the idea of sharing your pricing because it allows you to show what You believe your value you is. The right people will reach out and they will work with you. I’m looking for clients who believe in my work, believe what I say the value you of my work is and I think that’s always better then the guessing game. It all depends on the person. But at least you know what clients you are getting by sharing your pricing right away (mainly for portraits) With weddings though I’d say do a start price or make separate packages that isn’t listen on your website so you can talk to them more and get a personal connection

That one on one connection is vital, but if you're a photographer with a day job or even multiple non-photography jobs taking up your time and not making a call back to that potential client quick enough they'll most likely already talked to another photographer with more free time to speak on the phone. I tried it but could never reach back in time and I couldn't afford to hire a 3rd party to answer the call for me.

Hi Chelsea! I mainly specialize in couples and family portraits; and I currently have those packages fully listed out on my website. I’m planning to change my rates and packages for 2022, so I will be doing the “Starting at” strategy. Thank you for this video because it solidifies my decision to present my rates differently and land more bookings!!

I'm curious - what kind of photography do you specialize in, and which is your favorite of these website pricing strategies?
@JasonLorette3 жыл бұрын
In the past I've always put full pricing on my web site (Weddings, Portraits, Headshots) but I'm building a new website currently and looking for a different approach, the "starting price" would currently be my favorite as it eliminates the ones that can't/won't afford you right away.

Great marketing insights. I really enjoy your style of working and presenting. I’m not doing this for money; I’m making a portfolio of friends and family with the idea of making portraits for special occasions and maybe a little profit down the road. For my law practice, I provide a range or not to exceed number. I don’t use an average as I find that people don’t want to pay more than the only number they heard.
