The main benifit of laptop stand is to increase the SSD lifespan Basically, whenever we use the laptop stand the air flows in your laptop system is maxmium due to this it prevents the over heating, laptop can't get over heated so, that why?? the lifespan of SSD should increase.

The point of these stands really isnt typing its thermal cooling. Propping it up like this allows more are flow in and out of the laptop allowing it to cool far more efficiently. This is what these are good for.

Cooling pad doesn't really help.. it doesn't help in reducing laptop temperature even during winter.. The back opening and the height at the back helps in ventilating hot air coming from laptop
