I had the same issue. Went with a Turbinecore 2 to avoid a fine.

I remove all my spark arrestors on everything. I do keep it in my backpack if I get stopped

That is what I might do. I would’ve got another mouth right off the get-go but my silencer was brand new

You were a little rich at 12K+ feet. Could've sped that clogging up a bit. My vote is get a FMF turbinecore.... no screen and USFS approved.

I am very happy with my fmf turbinecore 2. I would go that route. Knowingly not having a spark arrestor isnt the responsible option. We want the law on our side.

I hear you there. So dose FMF have a screen that will need cleaned or is it some other way to spark arrest

@@sxsmarine4075 there is no screen to clean...they use a packing material. All the review that I read on it were great and no maintaince. The new model is the 2.1...i heard it is a bit quieter but I haven't compared. My 2 is similar to stock levels but a bit more throatier.
