if you live in a dorm it will cost around $1200-$1350/month included meal plan. However, if you can find a place like share house, homestay it will cheaper around $700-$1000/month.

Fraser International college covers for first year in the main university. However it has the same curriculum and arrangement like a college, in the sense that its 4 hrs per class. About it being needed, I dont think so bcos you can just start from the first year in SFU.

I am a US citizen but want to move to canada for school BUTTTTTTTTT it's expensive for international students.. my question is, can I move to canada as a visitor for 6 months but then apply for a permanent residency while living in Canada, once my 6 months is over, come back and get a better discount for school for permanent residence?
