Should You Stay Here? Full Review Riu Santa Fe • March 2024

The Riu Santa Fe is a family-friendly resort located just on the edge of Cabo San Lucas. It’s sure to please everyone, with a fabulous splash park and waterslides for the kids, Riu Pool Parties for those who want some fun, and an absolutely gorgeous courtyard pool for those who just want to relax and catch some sun.
There is a 24-hour lounge/Sports Bar, where you can enjoy snacks as well as a drink, there’s Pepe’s which is a snack bar with tacos, burgers, hot dogs, and nachos, an insane buffet with just about everything you could imagine, and 3 a la carte restaurants.
Because swimming in the area is not possible due to rip tides and strong undertows, the pools are absolutely stunning. The Riu Santa Fe has a large main pool plus a swim up bar pool in the courtyard, 2 pools at the pool party area (these are closed except for pool party hours), 1 large pool in the Oceanview section of the resort, as well as 4 infinity pools, 3 of which are swim up bar pools.

Very informative information. Thank you🙏 im a bit worried because im travelling alone in few weeks. So, how is the safety in the hotel and taking uber to marina/downtown?

@@monashkay_diary9375 I haven’t stayed at this hotel in my own but have stayed at other resorts in the area on my own probably a half dozen times. Never worried about taking a taxi or Uber but Cabo was actually my first Uber ever and I learned how it’s SO much safer with all the tracking and emergency measures built into the app. I don’t think you’ll have any issues at the resort but always ask for a room that is NOT on the ground floor and watch your drinks - the alcohol will sneak up on you here. And watch out for the shots. Everyone loves to do lots of these - again - the booze will catch up to you quickly. Have fun!

I stayed at the Riu Palace and they said we can hotel hop to all the other Riu’s but we just mainly stayed at our own hotel but did go to the Riu Santa Fe party 🎉 !! We had a blast and totally recommend staying at Riu Palace if you just want peace and quiet and not a party person and just jump over to Santa Fe when you want to party 🎉.

Hi Eden! Yes you used to be able to go to any other Palace but that’s all changed now. I innocently walked in to check it out and they kicked me back to Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas within 5 minutes of walking by the pool area.

Hi my friend, great video! We will be there in a week. Looks like it has changed quite abit since I was there last. In your opinion, are you able to enjoy the parties with out being super involved? How can I put this my husband would not be to excited to be in the mix of it all, we are, how do you say…a fun mature age Im guessing we would get along just fine😂🥳

@@karensdcc How exciting!! Well I didn't stick around for them mostly because I'm not a huge fan of boom box thumping music but everyone around me was having a blast. I would have stayed at the 80s night (white night) longer but I didn't even know that they had themes for the music. It was pretty quiet (as in, not busy - the music was still quite loud) at the beginning but I'm sure it was hopping by the end of the night. I don't know if it was extra busy because it was Spring Break & full of 20-somethings, but the Tuesday and Saturday parties were packed. That said, there were a couple of balcony areas where you could just enjoy your drink and people watch - the gogo dancers were very good and if you enjoy the music.... I'm sure you'll have a great time but do let me know what you think!

@@karensdcc I'm glad you can relate! Have a fabulous time in Cabo!! BTW if you go into downtown, be sure to have a beer at Uno Mas (it's always a hoot) and just up the street is an AMAZING taco place called Mother Flowers. You can look it up on Google. I'll be including that in my Cabo overview but I doubt I'll finish editing that video before you head down there. Tacos were about $6 each and the Carnitas one and the fish one were delicious!!

@@YaranCheng well I think the main pools are heated but they are quite large so overall will almost certainly feel chilly at that time of year unless it’s a hot sunny day. No idea if it’ll be warm enough for a baby.

How far is the walk to Medano beach would you say 😊

Hi Mari Ana! You can walk along the beach for about 40 minutes or around via the road and it's closer to 50 mins. Probably an Uber would take closer to 8 mins. Really, it's only about 1.5km or 1 mile away via the beach, but it's just a tough walk because the sand is loose.
