I mean I called my ex because we separated like adults but she forgot my house key on her keyring. Just asked if she could swing it by my job because her new place was less than a km from my job. Or if it was OK for me to swing by and grab it. Didn't care to see her just didn't feel like changing the locks on my house.

I only left because he wouldn't tell me why he gave me less attention. I asked for his side but he decided not to share. I didn't want us to break up. I wanted to work through our indifferences but I felt like I had no other option when he left me hanging. You just have to learn to truly love someone by forgiving them and moving towards something good.

I watched my ex go from a 2-year-old girl until a 22-year-old woman when I was with her. 10 years no communication and I can't help but think about her. Really puts an imprint of trauma in my brain. In Germany we have a wording. „Aufgewärmt schmeckt nicht so gut wie frisch.“ It means that reheated foods (relationships) will never taste as good as freshly made. And every single one of the persons I know that went back to their ex were crushed again after a short period of time with one exception of 6 months. I would never go back to an ex Girlfriend. But I know that for some people, not many it could just work and be the best decision of their lives… so… everybody should look after himself in this situation and go for the feelings that outweigh the others. If anxiety of being left or it just not working overweighs than just do not go for it.

Women are temporary more often than not. It’s a light switch. She no longer thinks of you as fondly as you think of her once she’s gone. She views you as beneath her. They’re wired differently. Communicating with them is pointless. And will only damage your self respect and dignity. Accept that your turn is over. That she was never really yours. I must be in the .0001% of guys. We broke up in high school because her dad made us (traumatic), neither of us dumped the other. We drifted apart after we graduated. She got married. She reached out 14 years later, but I thought she was still married so I blew her off. Five years after that I realized she's not married, so I reached out to her and now we're gonna hang out and catch up over drinks. I'm hoping we hit it off.

I think I'm in a weird spot, where I do love my ex, but it doesn't that we will be back together, we get along well on the present moment, but I decided to broke up with her since my vision and goals where not the same as hers, she doesn't have a clear vision of what to do so... During the relationship she couldn't understand what I was going through but she tried her best. Because of that I still text and check that she is mentaly and physically okay, I feel like I do it as sign of gratefulness and because I know that for me it's hard to stop taking care of people, but, I know that will have to stop when I found another girl, fell in love and become a bit more selfish and choose to be happy and spent my time with this new girl.
