Should you tip on a cruise?

i love you both, you are exactly what I'm like, I NEVER delete my gratuities from my fare, as you say, it then goes to the people you dont see, the laundry people, the dishwashers, and so many more, how heartless to delete this when we are relatively well to do, being able to go on a cruise....I always give a generous tip to my room. steward/stewardess plus .drinks waiters/waitresses ...and sometimes when I see a person who is re-painting the corridors ... which is what happened last time. I intend to be more generous on my Royal Caribean cruise to Alaska in September, thank you both fore highlighting this... looking forward to your next. video

I am so glad you found this took the time to write. We all work hard and I appreciate all of the staff on board because of them the ship is sailing and because of that they deserve to be recognized. Thank you so much taking the time to watch our video we really appreciate it

Good Thinking even $5 is ok because salaries on cruise ships have been the same for the last ten years and billionaires who own ships on account of workers build a new ship every year

Yes we think anything within your budget if you’re able to afford it is great. What people don’t realize is the staff work 24/7 without days off for the whole duration of their contract which is usually 7-9 months. I cannot imagine working that many days without a break with their pay. We always appreciate the staff and support them by giving them what we can

@@DPIADVENTURES Yes I agree, whoever works so hard deserves even a small gift, I also worked on a ship and had a wonderful couple like you, they were really great guests, and they give you the motivation to keep working and if you believe me, I bought them a present.
