Most people are drawn out for the latest and greatest but I 100% agree with your take. I ordered the 14 Pro for a review for the channel and yes it is better in a lot of ways, but it is not a transformative experience that will make your 11 Pro feel miles appart

I have 11 Pro Max 256gb, and I think I’m not going to upgrade it for another 7-8 years. I might replace the battery if required But I’m happy with 4G speeds, the cameras and the A13 Bionic. Loved your honest review. Subbed 🎉

honestly, if you didn't upgrade last year to the 13 you are not going to find many reasons to upgrade to the 14 either, they are incredibly similar devices

Honestly for the price your are better off sticking with your 11 for another year. If you decide to pull the trigger maybe a 13 pro second hand will be the next best deal you can get

hmmmm worth it is a tough question to answer. Will it be better? Sure. but depending on where you live the prices have increased so much that unless you can sell your iPhone 12 for a decent amount the upgrade will still be quite expensive. At the end of the day only you can answer this question unfortunately

If you have the money to spend right now go for it! Particularly if you are going for a 14 pro the camera improvements are going to be massive. Even to the 14, it’s going to be a massive leap for you

I have an iPhone XS and love the Oled display on it. The only reason I feel like I should upgrade to the 14 is my battery life is horrible nowadays and things are slow such as FaceTime calls, that’s really it

If your battery is bellow 80% it might be worth it to pay to have it replaced since apple tends to slow down the CPU with an aged battery. With that said the single biggest thing you can do to speed things up for free is factory reset so maybe give that a try!

I just got an XR, won’t be upgrading for a long time, iPhone 14 hasn’t had any improvements, just the dynamic island, the new chipset isn’t that incredible since the chipset that came with 13 lineup was already impressive

The regular 14 has the exact same processor as the 13 and for 70 bucks Apple will replace the battery. The display is the only significant thing you’ve upgraded, and the camera has gotten some moderate improvements.

If you are only looking at the non pro versions then I would say save the money and go for the 13 since they are extremely similar to the 14

Get the 14 already than if you haven't had an iPhone, doesn't make sense to get an "old" model if you're coming from an android

Honestly it all depends on how long you are planning on keeping the phone. If you simply want to give the iPhone a try to see if the OS experience is something that you like then any recent iphone will do the job, but if you are planning on committing for the next couple of years spending the extra money on the latest one will probably make the entire experience as good as it can be. With that said the day to day experience of using the phone will only be marginally different between them, but I plan on making a review of the 14 Pro so if you want to stick around and watch that in a couple of weeks I can try to further help you with your choice

Absolutely! On a side note, only apple would dedicate an entire software experience to a part of the device that is only because it HAS to. Makes you think that this is the design of the front of the iPhone for the next 5 Years
