Should You Upgrade To The Pixel 7 Pro? Google Pixel 6 Pro Vs Pixel 7 Pro

I can't even imagine buying a phone every year, especially at that price. I've always bought the "best performance and features for the price" and stuck to it until it became unbearable in software and/or hardware. Keep it updated by compiling from some custom ROM source myself, and ride it out until it no longer does most of what it's supposed to. And hey, my Pixel 3a still has a headphone jack in case I do need to plug in wired headphones.

One of the thing I ask the most about the pixel phone is the data speed and connection. What has been your take on that? Is it strong or weaker than the other Android phones? Is it losing connection from time to time?

I have the Pixel 7 Pro and it has it's quirks however I know Google will fix them but it sucks it's not as refined as it could be with resources that Google has for launch day.

Speakers are louder but quality wise the 6 Pro has a bit more Bass and more balanced. Imo...

I traded in my 6 Pro for a 7 pro. My 6 Pro had intermittent bluetooth issues that I believe were hardware related. My Pixel 4 had none of the problems my 6 had, I reset the phone multiple times and even tried beta updates but it just keep having connection problems. Since I got it, the 7 pro has been rock solid for me. I wish the 6 hadn't soured me on pixel but the 7 redeems Google's hardware this time.

I upgraded from a pixel 6 Pro to a pixel 7 amateur. My main reason for doing it was the connectivity issues I was having with the 6 pro as well as the fingerprint sensor. After a couple of updates it got better but it still wasn't good. I decided to give Pixel one more shot (mainly due to a great trade in) and the pixel 7 has been working well for me. I also didn't take as many telephoto pictures as I thought I would and I think the pixel 7 form factor is just much much better.

I actually took advantage of the bonus trade-in thing Google was doing and the additional best buy gift card bonus to upgrade my development phone from a pixel 5 to a regular 7. Think it was like $200 after the trade in and with using my rewards it dropped it even more! If I include the additional gift card best buy gave, I basically got the phone + a case for free! Not bad for an old phone. :) Only reason why I upgraded my development phone is because the 5's end of life was like a year away and now I will get major updates for 3 years and security for like 5 years! I do have a 6 Pro and 7 Pro as well, I slightly like the 7 Pro a little more, mostly because the little extra battery life and better zoom. When the 8 Pro gets released, I will be trading in the 6 Pro because I'm sure Google and Best Buy will be running their bonus things to get folks to upgrade and it will make it cheap (would be even cheaper if I traded in the 7 Pro but I like keeping my current phone around so I can switch back if needed and fun to play around with)

Multi-Point Bluetooth casting?? I'm upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy S9+, to the pixel 7 pro, & am loving the experience. My quest is how to do multi-point Bluetooth casting as I listened to shows with two Bluetooth headsets on the Samsung GS9+ & I am not able to see how to do multi-point Bluetooth casting on the Pixel 7 pro. I like the colour of the Pixel 6 Pro more, so I'd keep a Pixel 6 Pro. If I had the choice to buy either, I'd buy the 6 Pro. Would like to use one as a Graphene OS machine.
