Should YOU wear a Longer Chain?!

Longer chains these days aren't nearly as popular as the shorter 20/22 inch lengths. I wore a longer 26 inch chain for a while just to see what it was like. It sparked the idea to make a review on the reality of wearing the longer chain lengths. There's definitely some pros and cons while doing so. Hope this helps some people out! Thanks for watching!

You should do a video on long chains on women. We typically where 16-20 inch above the bust and then drop down to around 28-30+ inch below the bust with pendants, but sometimes solitary. However, we still use relatively small chains.

I just got my 6mm 24 inch figaro delivered, was a little long for me so I brought it in to my jeweler and had him reduce it to 23 inch. Absolutely love this length, 22 seemed too short and 24 was slightly too long, 23 is perfect

I have a 24" Dragon Scale chain & would have to agree with you it's a bit too long. I don't like 20" chains because they tend to creep up my neck & choke me out, the 22" chains do that slightly as well. I think I will have to have a jeweler cut my next chain down to 23".

Thanks for the video Braden- I don’t have any 26” or longer chains, not because I don’t want one or don’t like them, but simply because I know how the 22s and 24s look already, and there’s less risk involved, but I really really want a 26 next, hopefully a Jacoje curb just like that one except maybe yellow or rose. Just a thought- I noticed the disparity in the views between your videos with “giveaway” in the title and the ones without- a great idea might be to give a surprise giveaway to someone in a video that doesn’t advertise it- that way you’ll know your giving some love to someone who watches all your videos just because they love them/learn from them (like me!) instead of someone who just got lucky playing the odds.

My 24" 8mm is the sweet spot but that's just me. I would totally rock a longer chain though to get that look. I will say though when you popped out that figarope I was like damn! Jacoje with the flex! That looked some nice.

For me the sweetspot is 22 inch to 26 inch. I probably would not wear one much longer than that. I am going for a chain look not a knecklace look. But some guys love those longer chains and that's fine. The newer flat curb in the video is slightly more sparkly but they both look great.

I have a 26in and a 30in 4mm rope stack both with pendants. Definitely can't wear them to bed lol or to workout. But aside from that I wear them almost everytime I leave the house. They definitely swing around in a good way tho. I am saving for a 22in never take off piece. Maybe a 6mm tri rope. That Figaro looks so boss dayum! But a bit to thick to wear 24/7.

Once I went 22 and I can't go longer again because it doesn't swing so far up into your face so you can do anything with it on. The 22 does look weird when I don't have a shirt on because it sticks to my skin and doesn't hang properly compared to when I have a t shirt on. I'm going to try to layer the 22" with a 24" 3mm with pendant to see if it makes a difference

My current daily wear is a 24" solid yellow gold chain Love the length, super comfortable Never had a problem with it shifting to my back But sometimes the clasp will end up on my chest instead of the back of my neck

I just got a 5mm 26 inch solid rope d/c from jacoje and I honestly thought it was thicker but it still looks very nice as my starter chain and also it’s my daily chain like work wise but I think that 6mm would look even better maybe.. thoughts?

6mm does look better but it’s not comfortable as a daily wear in my opinion. I always take mine off I have a 6mm 24inch rope which I only wear occasionally and never sleep with it. Feels really awkward for me.

It’s 26 inches but doesn’t feel awkward at all and even at home without a shirt around the house it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. The 6mm looks like twice the size of the 5mm and idk why but it does look big honestly not for a daily chain i’d say.

It’s not the length. It’s the weight. I wear a 6mm Cuban daily. In the gym it ends up on my back. My flat doesn’t Or if it does you don’t really notice it it’s the weight of that Cuban (jacoje curb)

I think if you get a flat chain compared to a rope you should always go an inch or 2 bigger. I feel the flat chains don't rap around your neck like a rope and won't hang as far down as the same length rope chain. If I was going to get flat I would go 25 or 26 inch and a rope 24. Ropes hug your neck much more and hang down lower in my opinion. If you go bigger you can always go to a jeweler and get an inch cut off.
