There’s nothing wrong with doing it with a team or by yourself. Working solo can help you have total control over projects and be able to execute your vision, while working with a team can make development faster and allows for more ideas. Like he said, it really depends.

It’s completely circumstantial! But I think working with teams is good sometimes. Helps you get out of your comfort zone.

*Cold take:* All being equal, _Team > Solo._ Generally. Only with specifics such as loaded executions can one balance it. Otherwise team > solo rings true.

Although I've never really worked on a long term project like making a game, I have thought about it (fantasized, if you will) a lot. And a lot of points I've thought of were indeed brought up. Working alone can and most probably will be the best way of making your project to the T but for one, most certainly will lead to narrow minded thinking which could be a bad thing. An example being that another person could give a proposition that you love but would never have thought of yourself because you already have too much on your plate. My stance would be to just try out a small team because quite frankly, having even just one person helpin out here and there can avoid your certain death. [This is all coming from a guy with zero experience, for the record] A wee side complement for the manz himself: Your editing is scrumptious. Period. Not many people I watch put as much effort into it as you do, and that's coming from someone who wants to get into editing and has observed a lot of people (ok not that many but still) for the sole purpose of picking up on the little things they do to make those crisp videos. I know that may sound self-righteous, because it is, but I'd still like to point it out because many people praise a video's editing not because it has good editing(it's ok I'll be honest here) but because it's a rlly GOOD video. Not to say your video itself also isn't rlly good, cuz it is. Dumb thing to end this comment cuz idk how to: Did you know that civic is the only word I know that stays the exact same if you spell it backwards??!!?

Thank you for the detailed comment! I think when you first work by yourself it helps with general control. But there are some good benefits to working with even a small team! Also thanks for complimenting the editing. I genuinely have a love for making appealing looking videos!

I think as long as you can keep yourself motivated and accountable for a big project it can be beneficial to work alone, but if not you're better off working with a team.

Personally I work solo to have total creative control over the project, and with tools such as chat GPT for programming assistance the gameplay for my dream game is now a reality.
