Awesome video. My bone stock GT2RS runs 16.15-.20 in the half at 168 mph, and very low 6 60-130 (just ran a 6.10 with a 2,200 ft DA). So he’s getting .15 secs and 1-2 mph with his tune. Also, GT2RS has a massive 24 gallon fuel tank so you need to run these races at 1/3 of a tank (he had 3/4). 75-100 extra lbs in the nose in this RWD car makes .1-.2 sec difference in this car…. Awesome footage. Thx for doing this. Your turbo S with bolt ons and a tune, or even Pure Turbos, would be hard to beat.

Texas Airstrip Attack is October 19,20. We will bring our new Eray and the Tesla Track Plaid to Texas. What we learned in Indy Airstrip Attack is that in 1/2 mile you need a car like the UGR Lambo that can reach 210 to 240 mph in 1/2 mile to beat the Tesla Track Plaid at the 1/2 mile marker even though the Plaid only does 180 mph.

@@sorka95032 That track Plaid does 205 mph top speed. At the 1/2 mile marker I was only able to achieve 180 mph on Dragy. That included a horrible 1/4 mile time around 10s because Tesla does not allow tire pressures below 38 psi without cutting motor power. The result is the car spun all four tires for 300 ft. Had I gotten enough grip to do a 9.4s as it normally does on the street the car may have achieved 185 to 190 at the 1/2,mile marker. With pedal to the floor the car kept climbing to 190 mph just past 1/2 mile flags when I hit the brakes. Hopefully that clarifies.

The Plaid or EVs needs a solid state battery and it's game over. It just a matter of time when that technology is available for EVs. It's smaller, lighter, charges faster and it can go longer distances. 30 years from now maybe we'll see solid state batteries being sold in 7-Eleven stores as plug n play.

I replied to halow4, which referred the huracan. i do think would walk the sf90, which is about a 9.6 average, from what ive seen from 1200hp - 1400hp tt lambos, they should be a lot quicker, especially considering how it walked the mclaren which was alos not stock, sf90 don't walk 765lt that easily atleast on a prepped strip, in fact other videos from brooks on the strip backs that, although he wasn't running stock tires, but like he said it's mostly just for traction consistency.

Obviously you're competing to these cars that cost 2 to 3 times to your Porsche 991 Turbo S. What do you expect? You should've foreseen the results before arriving. Still, for me the best car I ever owned. Did the M-Engineering stage 1 tune and it woke-up the car. If you're planning to do 1/2 mile event, I rather do a R8 - better drag co-efficient, longer wheelbase, and stock motor can handle 1,800 hp. Good luck!

@@louisuhhh_4546 I can buy those cars, own among others an SF90 and SF90XX Spdier etc. I tell you, it matters. It's massively expensive right now. It easily adds over 12-15k to the cost. Also factor in that you lose the warranty and completely kill the resale value. And no matter how you slice it, those cars do not drive like an SF90 for example. Once you tune that car to over 1000 hp, it will be a tuner car with what ever issues that may entail.
