Definitely a tune up game. They came out a little flat and ramped it up. But it can't all be on Josh. Need easier plays and better sequencing. Cook was great early, but they need a closer. Rosseau looked monstrous. A lot of positives despite not playing their best.

Because they changed the Kickoff rule so they are going to give him some time to fix his team first. Also the OB was because of the extremely strong wind that's why the ball kept falling off the tee.

At the game today. Weather was super for football. Yeah, special teams sticks out like a sore thumb. The only thing I hope for is that within Josh’s full-throttle style, he will do it in a way that 1. Minimizes his chances of getting injured, and 2. Minimizes the reckless mistakes that can destroy a season. First half was rough w the fumble, but rest of the game looked like a step in the right direction. I like Brady’s use the whole arsenal approach.

I can’t stand our fan base and the coverage of the team. It is always so negative. We played a great game. How is it that the people who cover us, if it is not complete domination, even if we win with great play. The coverage is always about what we did wrong. I can’t stand the negative coverage from the main stream media, let alone people who are supposed to be for us. The bills played a great game and the delusional pessimistic attitude from the fans and coverage is tiresome and emotionally exhausting.

Don’t be so dramatic. They were lucky to win. Special teams were bad. Cards started final drive on the 40! Offensive penalties were inexcusable. Don’t forget , this was against a first year head coach in your home opener. We were down 17-3 and lost a fumble and had to settle for 3 after one of the many offensive holding penalties. It’s ok to discuss things that Need work. Everybody is happy we won a game that last year was similar and we lost. Lots to build on, injuries will be an issue on short week. But you can’t be happy giving up 3 easy scores to start the game and can’t be happy giving up a td on the dynamic kickoff when no other nfl teams allowed that to happen. It’s a great win, but mcd will be saying the same things the fans commented on. It’s America , we are based on free speech. Differing opinions are why we are a great country. You apparently would silence any differing opinions, and you should enjoy , protect our freedom of speech many died for to have such a right!; you might actually learn something if you aren’t afraid to just listen. Tyrell Dotson was too limited athletically and would never be able to cover like we want. Dorian is that type of athlete that’s moving up from Tulane to the NFL. We’re one game into this season. Dotson was on the team for years before finally playing decently. We have four guys that are a better fit than Ty Dotson long term behind our starting two LBs. Our depth is very good, they just need some time and reps. Miami is a tough matchup though for any of them - and if Ty Dotson was here, he’d be a coverage liability.

Coaching nearly cost the game. On the Bills last drive they needed a TD to put it away and the last plays before the field goal were typical of Bills teams that keep losing in the playoffs in that they go way too conservative at just the wrong moment. If you don’t play to win end to end then often you’ll lose. The Cardinals should have gotten a pass interference call in their favor at the end and may have scored a TD to win.

It also revealed the Bills flawed endgame strategy. They thought they could just get an FG on their last drive and win with a 6 point lead. Then Bass’s kick automatically starts Arizona at the 40 with a whole two and a half minutes left. Typically McDermott I’m afraid. The no call on pass interference in 4th down for AZ is the only reason they didn’t have first down at our 2. Try that against KC and we’re screwed once again despite Josh being super man.

The strip sack fumble is from blown protection. The criticism of Allen is unreal. The commentators of the game immediately brought up Allen leading in turnovers since whatever date and of course failed to give context that Josh Allen leads the NFL in Touchdowns since 2018. Little details like that seem to disappear from the biased media. I have never in 35 years watching the NFL seen a great player of Allen's stature criticized so unfairly and continuously as he is today and has been for the past couple of seasons. While simultaneously seeing Patrick Mahomes and Affirmative Action MVP award winner Lamar Jackson getting prasie abesent even appropriate criticism. Ridiculous woke tokenism BS. Can't have the current narrative being a white player is the crown jewel of the NFL. For the Mahomes d*** riders understand that Super Bowls are TEAM accomplishments. Josh Allen in 2023 reg season and playoffs had just one more interception but also had 18 more touchdowns than Mahomes. Allen deserves considerstion for the best player in the NFL. He certainly was the rightful MVP last season. But the political and ruling establishment couldn't have that now could they. Just look at the negativity from Disney owned ESPN. The disrespect. I agree. For a first game of the season, the Bills achieved their goal of winning, and their young players played well, with maybe the exception of Torrance. I don't get this idea that every game should be a blowout that is over at halftime. I guess the spoiled fans that just discovered the team don't understand how the NFL.
