It's amazing how little the city has changed. Now in 2011 it is the same as this. The only that has changed is the clothes, hair styles and cars. :)

No smartphones and less overweight people. The microphone of the camera was specifically tuned to capture as much engine and tyre noise as possible, though. Maybe it was a camera normally used for recording motorsports?

If I disregard the cars, fashion and ads, it really does look pretty much the same today. However, one thing that I imagine is vastly different is the car exhaust smell. I'm born in -93, and even in my childhood I remember that cars smelled more than they do today. Rewind the evolution of more environmentally friendly exhaust fumes back another decade from that; I reckon the exhaust fumes weren't too pleasant.
