The Oshkosh snowplow and the red/white checkerboard-painted water towers were iconic images of USAF bases around the US back in the 50-60's. BTW: I think the muffler baffles of the Lima's 3-71 Detroit are long gone. Lol. Thanks for posting and I'll be seeing ya this coming week.

Agree 100%! Lakeside has a Bay City shovel painted and marked for USMC, with stick on bullet holes. A member was an operator in Nam. Don't know what the engine in the Osgood is, but it sounds nice. Great runner for its age. Lakeside has an Osgood that is known to be ex-military. Also a 15-B ex WW-II, with a lighting generator for night work. Say hi when you see me, I'm terrible with names.

I wish I had a dollar for every cracked weld and bullet hole I welded up in those 5 ton military dump trucks 1968 was a bad year for dump trucks in Vietnam, that one looks in good shape. Nice video, thank you for sharing. Hopefully I will make it to Brownsville this coming weekend.

Looks like it might be rainy again, keep the dust down. Bonus, Brownsville is a Jeep park sometimes.

I really want to find a Basket case truck like the first one (OshKosh) or a small Euclid to use everyday....
