Yeah, I buy cheap bulk packs. I never buy Vic Firth's because they are so expensive, but if they really last longer, it might pay off. I am going to give it a try soon!

personally I think this is true drumming. It's all in that BIG FAT ASS GROOVE that Kenny lays down like few drummers can.

Let's see some of your drum videos, or maybe some fights too

Kenny is a great drummer and also a VERY nice guy. Just don't let him play your kit, lol! New heads all around. :-)

Hm, that's interesting. I don't play metal either (more like rock funk and jazz) but I break sticks every two weeks. The rim of my snare drum just slowly eats my stick away, till it breaks. Sometimes, wood chips start flying around when I am playing. I am not a hard hitter and the rim doesn't have sharp edges. My sticks are made of hickory, which is quite heavy and durable wood.

I always buy cheap sticks in large packages. Like 10 or 12 at a time, and they only cost me 4 dollars a pair. They are not top notch quality, but as long they're hickory it's okay.

Damn he gets his sticks fucked up every song lol. Plays pretty damn hard. I'm cheap so I use my sticks for as long as I can. Like 3 months.
