it’s because the others had the digital sales and physical sales to win. Monbebes need to stream on Melon, Genie, Naver, etc. streaming the official mvs on Starship and 1TheK’s KZbin channel is not enough, since they only count for a small part of the scoring. whereas, digital sales ranges from like 40% to 65% in all music shows. the other reason being wannaone has a huge fanbase, especially their korean fanbase, way before their debut for their survival show pd101 was way more known than No Mercy. AND wannaone is under a much bigger company than Starship. it’s not that they are a strong group (all the groups in the top 5 are amazing in their own right), they receive a lot more support from their fandom. and i think this is partly because wannaone is a temporary group that will/may (there are wannables who are trying to prevent their disbandment) be disbanding December of 2018. also, the majority of Monbebes are multifandoms and their ults may not be MONSTA X.

hi! SHANE here is army carat. Bts & seventeen is my ult group. But i have my eyes on monsta x since their debut day. Honestly, their song from debut day is all good. Its hurt when they got their first win so late. People are sleeping on them. But i do hope, after their first win last time, people recognizeand love them more. I love Seventeen and i love clap.
