Hi Kitty! An excellent Video as always . I have two questions for you, I cannot find the texture powder on your website ? I also have a question about really curly coat on irish setter, what products do you recommend? Kindly regards !
@TransgroomTV2 жыл бұрын
Hello Wencke , Thank you for your comment. Happy to help you further . Currently our NEW product in the Showtech+ line ; The Texture it powder , is not in stock yet . Normally it would be delivered 2 weeks ago ; but there is a delay . The Texture-it will be delivered next week ( planned on 13 march) . So please keep an eye on our website , from the moment it will be in stock , you will find the powder under reference number : 45STP022 www.transgroom.com For the Irish Setter . we can recommend to you a lot of products , but what you really need is a shampoo and conditioner for silky coats . you can also use a mesh Straightening coat : transgroom.com/en/products?search=mesh%20straightening%20coat They are a stretch fit to flatten the coat . This jackets you can use after bathing and grooming the dog . However, if the coat of an Irish one , has been shaved of scissored , or also this can be genetic, then it can be difficult to straighten it correctly , however not impossible . Please let me know if I can help you further. Don't hesitate to contact us if we can guide you . Thank you

Mam I want to know that if shampoo mix with water is left behind in first wash can we use this mix product after 7 days? Specifically Hydra products
@TransgroomTV2 жыл бұрын
Hello, Thank you for your comment/ question, Happy to help you further . From the moment you have diluted shampoo. you have to use this is 24 hours .the shelf life of diluted shampoo is maximum 24 hours, after that time, you can't use diluted shampoo anymore . The shampoo turns sour after dilution. Kind regards .

Is there a reason why you dont just hand strip the chest and the head? My boss has a show newfie, and we also have several of them at our salon, and we always hand strip away the wool and then they stay in the correct look for a much longer time. Also it lightens the fur and it doesnt collect dirt and sand as much as when its cut. Even the legs are easily hand stripped on the short areas to get them nice and clean :D

I think maybe because he was already very nervous at the end

Hello Mathilde Thank you for your very interesting question, I imagine you live in a warm climate but I can be wrong, please let me know. This is probably an American thing. Here in Europe we don’t usually strip so much in the winter to remove the woolly undercoat at this time of year because the dog has his winter coat its very cold and the wool in not ready to come out. If it had been spring/summer I would have stripped out the much more using vingers, stripping sticks and even Speed Stripper or even a Coat King to model and style. Thanks again for your question.
@mathildedorothea50322 жыл бұрын
@@kittydekeersgieter I live in Norway, so warm climate is a no. I said strip the coat on top, not undercoat. And the newfie has such a dense coat they wont freeze in the winter no matter what you do as long as you dont shave them. Coat king ruins furs for show dogs, thats knives , you dont want to use knives on any stripping coat/double coat. As mentioned: my boss has a show newfie, and the technique showed here is extremely different from the way I know. I dont understand why flatcoats and newfies are cut instead of just plucking out the wool.

@@Kira-eo2cs Stripping is done before bathing, not after, so thatsnot vet relevant :)
