Love this! ❤️ In this season of the feast of tabernacles I was struck yesterday by how Moses’ request for God to show him His glory was in the context of the tabernacle. Right between the giving of the instructions for the construction of the tabernacle (Ex 25-31) and the actual building of it (Ex 35-40) the congregation of Israel corrupt themselves by turning what was to be the 1st of their contributions towards the building of the tabernacle into a golden idol invoking God’s wrath and Moses’ intercession. The people suffered loss because of their disobedience but Moses got to see all of God’s goodness pass before him and hear the Lord proclaim His name. Gracious and merciful to all He chooses. What a God we serve!

Listening today to Sam speaking at the GPA conference about God giving the Church back the authority we gave away under Constantine. Hallelujah! Got me thinking again about God’s government vs man’s government. Even the story of Moses and the people of God arriving at Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments and the pattern for the tabernacle is preceded by Jethro’s advice to Moses on how the people of God should be governed. Advice Moses takes and uses… yet God changes in Numbers 11 when He reveals that the governance of His people is to be by His spirit working through His appointed leaders. Funnily enough this time last year high brow intellectual Jordan Peterson held a symposium based on Exodus in London where they discussed, among other things from what I gather, Jethro’s advice as the “model of good governance”. Interesting. There’s definitely wisdom in Jethro’s advice but clearly from the account in Numbers 11 the leaders all lacked God’s spirit until He intervened 🙏🏻

Beautiful! I also really like the production style of the video with the orange words and the worshippers more in the background. I find it way less distracting than the worship videos where they zoom in on the super pretty/trendy worship leader looking all ultra spiritual. Lol

Could I please ask why the Chord Chart words plus Lyrics on the GPA site with Copyright 2023, are so different? I love both lots.....but trying to understand why these are different. I do understand that often on "lives" Holy Spirit does change things around though.
