I was surprised to see Leon running up shielding and sitting in shield a lot in general cause every time I've fought a good ICs, they always have several setups for shield stun > grab or just impossibly safe aerials because of there being 2. 11:25 was a good example of how efficient their forced grab situations be.

True but as someone who plays icies this mu is super good like bowser gets killed super early, gets up smashed out of shield, can get camped, and his up b is near uselss as ice climbers have jab desynce, soymilk, ect,

Yeah you can not just block normally against them even if you have a great all around frame 6? OoS option that travels in the direction you want like Bowser does People talk about how Steve and Kazuya dont have to play normal smash fundies as kinda almost break the game mean while aegis is so overtuned in their fundies its nuts but since there arent a many amazing ice climbers players people kinda forget ice climbers can just not care if you ever use the shield button or try to grab them back in this game

Yeah 11:59 shows not only can you not shield against ice climbers but if even if you try to use a grab as amazing as Bowser's frame 6 command grab you just get punished for landing your move So yeah in most situations it seems you should not be shielding against them nor trying to grab them Stay out of their range with someone like Byleth or Sephiroth or just keep your basic swordie moving

That last game last moment there, d wasn't even air dodging or anything except he was playing calmy and aggressively, while Leon was so scared for some reason to do anything else other than habits like falling backair. Look at that silly moment where they both jumped together back to the centre last 40-50 seconds man such face palm just attack Leon mix it up while ice climbers is strong you have everything like downtilt or grab???? Or up air??
