I’m so happy that Simogo are finally getting some real press coverage. Their horror game, Year Walk, is an absolute master class in storytelling, visual design, and atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite games of all time and it’s such an underrated gem. Device 6 is a phenomenal puzzle game with an amazing aesthetic and great story. Sailors Dream is an extremely simple and yet beautiful game that tells a very compelling story and has some great music. Beat Sneak Bandit is a fun and quirky rhythm game that visually reminds me a lot of Night in The Woods. All of these games are really good and all of them deserve more recognition (but mostly Year Walk) so if you have an iPhone please for the love of god play more of their games. Year Walk is also available on Steam and WiiU.

I didn't even think about this until now, but it's super cute. Anyway, the youngest of my many brothers used to have a 6-foot tall glow in the dark penguin with night vision goggle called Phrosty as his imaginary friend, who he was absolutely certain existed, and the only reason the rest of us never saw him was because he went to the moon every day using the cardboard box used for the hamsters cage delivery and only came back at night whilst everyone else was asleep. He actually made his Dad put out some of his clothes for Phrosty one night because he was sad that he didn't have any of his own. Anyway, I thought someone would find this cute.

Last week's show prompted me to try baking flapjacks. I used Mary Berry's recipe and they were outstanding. A++, will definitely bake again. They're actually kind of similar to a classic baked delicacy here in New Zealand - the Anzac biscuit, a traditional oat biscuit that tends to feature plenty of brown sugar and golden syrup.
