After watching over twenty videos on pen construction, I rate this one as the best. Purina also has a great video. The others are not really educational.

how is the pen cleaned?

you can take a pick which is shown in the vid or a shovel and I personally spot clean dally (I normally have 2 hogs it can be switch to every other day if you choose to spot clean) and completely cleaning and wash my pens out once a week

What kind of shavings wide Pine shavings? THIS won't hurt the pigs?

Josh recommends the white pine shavings because it keeps them clean and won’t stain them.
