Hi, Nick! This detection of trailing whitespaces and their deletion could be done in a more simple way (without plugins). In .vim/vimrc: " will show not only colors but whitespaces in *.py files syntax on " Remove trailing whitespaces in text (press "r" + "space") nmap r :%s/\s\+$//

@@nichohells I don't have any current plans to switch. Everything at the moment is working with Vim and I know the time sink will be high to switch to Neovim. If there's a compelling feature or usability enhancement that drastically improves the experience I'd do it. It feels like a "one day" type of thing.

@@NickJanetakis For me, the biggest selling point of Neovim, among a lot of other things, is Lua; I personally always had a hard time relating to vimscript
