Really interesting to hear that the showa’s Sumi developed much more in the cloudy weather. Never heard this in 27 years of keeping koi. Many thanks Stefan and Shige

Awesome fish, unbelievable change throughout its life, i wonder how many koi get missed in the middle of their life that could turn out this well in the end?? Crazy!

Question for Shigeyoshi - if the sumi comes up in cloudy weather, is that due to the reduction in direct sunlight on the pigmentation or the impact that sunlight has on the ph of the water, which has then changed the sum strength ?

Watching videos for picking out showa, they say look for this or that or avoid this and that. But all breeders lines are different. How do i begin to research a good breeder and what their lines are known for?

Offcourse the different bloodlines have their own karakter, but the principle of a good showa is the same. position of the red and black, body shape ect.

ben ik blij dat ik een overkapping over mijn vijver heb gemaaktmaar het blijft een loterij
@KoiTVjapan6 жыл бұрын
danny lok niet echt loterij hoor. Als alles goed is . Kwaliteit koi , waterwaarden , voer enz dan is de kans op een goed resultaat heel groot hoor .
