It was my brother Chris who noticed this...we listened to it and could hear a 60's band called the Fortunes in the style, whether the writers ( I think the band wrote this themselves) intended to sound like that, if so it is a brilliant tribute to a great band...maybe the Fortunes themselves should record this as a counter tribute, I love both bands

This sounds beautifully like the Fortunes, Here it Comes Again You've Got your Troubles, may not have been intended but I am sure the lads listened to the Fortunes in their formative years

The Waddy's were considerably more arch than The Fortunes. The camp "yeah,yeah..yeah" backing vocals give it a slightly Morecombe and Wise feel. The lead singer does a good job on this. But he isn't Rod Allen. Still think it's the best thing they ever did, though.

Yeah, what a great time and a great place to live back in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Where my mother and her family come from. Think it's all changed now though. Not sure. Haven't been there for a few years.
