Really love this video, I was looking for photos of vintage Polly Pockets sets in pinterest and I came across with your blog and the post were you wrote about your journey collecting Polly Pockets. I related so much with your story, it’s so similar to mine. My parents could’t afford brand new toys for me when I was a child but they made the effort to bought for me the yellow storybook for my 6th bday, but a few months later someone stole it from my own house, that was my only PP in my childhood. Now I’m 28 years old and decided to look for the set and I discovered your channel, I decided to start to collect PP sets because I fell in love with them, I’m out of control and started to buy a few pieces and recover my yellow book! Glad to know I'm not the only one! Once I bought my first one from my childhood, I wanted them all. It's funny because I tend to throw away my things as I hate having a bunch of stuff, especially if I don't use them. But with Pollies, they're just special and each one has a purpose to me. I got my first one under 20$ i collect vintage barbies and added polly after finding her videos. They are vintage so you have options, other you buy ones that need to be completed for cheaper or save and buy complete sets. For me the locket is more important then the dolls and the dolls can be just as expensive as the lockets. So hunting down, comparing prices and of course going on eBay and finding sellers that will take 'or best offer' helps. I just started and its been fun getting the experience to hunt things down and relive memories of my childhood, so good luck! ☺

I don't have Pet Salon, sadly! It's the last Lucy Locket set I need and I'm on the lookout. I get my vintage Pollies and Lucies on eBay. This particular one cost $400. Originally it was $700 but my husband is the real MVP and talked to the seller about getting the price lower. I love having a new in box set, but I wouldn't make it my goal to only buy new in box. Sometimes, new in box is the only thing available. Wow I ranted here. 😂

I love this! I love this Lucy Locket set! It's so cool! I could imagine having a Lucy Locket set. But I still think Polly Pockets are my favorite. I love Polly Pockets, but I love the new ones better, because I am 10 so I don't know what Vintage Polly Pockets are like. I prefer Polly Pocket compacts over the houses. Even the new Polly Pocket have buildings, like Mega Mall and Pollyville Pocket House. The compacts will always be my favorite.
