@@createdbywayne I am an educator involved in instructional design. I had been very frustrated that most website features are geared towards commerce. I had been racking my brain how to use some or similar features for the purposes of education. I am constantly imagining how to use your tutorials to cover, say a historical or literary subjects. Success in some ways, but I have more to learn. I know this is not your domain necessarily, but can you make some tutorials (and templates for purchase) to accommodate editorial design. I feel that instructional design has not even begun to adopt the wonderful tools of clean, appealing, interactive graphic design. Thank you for all you do for us. Bless 🙏🏾

OMG - I absolutely love this design. It's so elegant. I tried recreating this by watching the video - I can't tell you how many times I pressed rewind, but I got stuck at a few places. 1) Your transitions at around 9:45 look very smooth and professional, but on my slides they don't behave that way. They're very quick and choppy even when I adjust the timing. Is there another level of speed/timing/adjustment I'm missing? 2) LOVE the scatter effect at the 11:48 mark, but for the life of me - I couldn't figure out how to do it. I did see your note in the comments to watch your video on match and move and I was able to recreate that entire slide show, so THANKS! I had to find my own way of getting that scatter, but I will come back to this project and see if I can use what I learned from THAT video to finally achieve the scatter effect in this one!!

That's so nice of you to say! 😊 I'm not sure why those animations would be choppy - it MAY be that they look choppy when previewing but will look ok when exported, but I'm not sure what else it could be. Regarding the other one, all I did was move each group ALMOST off screen at the top corners of the second page. then adding match and move, they 'fly' off in different directions. But make sure there is a TINY bit of the element still on the page, or Canva doesn't recognise it for match & move. Hope that helps. 🖤

You're right, that wasn't very clear. I just duplicated the slide with the four objects on, then moved each one to ALMOST off the screen, but so that the frame around the group is still one page ever so slightly, then I used 'match & move' to create the animation. If you move them OFF the second page totally, then Canva doesn't recognise them for the animation, so you have to keep them EVER so slightly on the page. Hi Wayne, as always a great and inspiring video. Thanks! I now noticed I had less animation options in my Canva Pro account. I’ve found the extra sets ‘Combinations’ and ‘Alternative Styles’ through Magic Animate, but still can’t find the new added basic options you mentioned ‘succession’ and ‘blur’. These are the only two missing now, comparing to yours. Do you have a beta test opportunity maybe? I can’t imagine Canva excluded these two options for The Netherlands… Any suggestions?

You can export it as a video and insert that into a Canva website, just as you would any image or video. Is that what you mean?
