That's interesting! A 2T22 and 3T22 are the same siren, except that the 3T22 has dampers to create a hi-lo signal and other signals too. I did use a DC motor for this one, so that could definitely play a role in its sound qualities.

mabye use a brushless motor its more accurate and will be louder but you did a good job wow!
@milespeterson50492 ай бұрын
Absolutely, I originally wanted to use a brushless motor, but most DC motors are brushed, and I didn't want to mess with any high-voltage AC stuff. Fortunately, I'm building another siren that will use an AC brushless motor, stay tuned for its release!

@milespeterson50492 ай бұрын
Yep, it's partially because I used a DC motor, which have faster wind-ups and wind-downs. The real motor uses an AC brushless motor, which has longer wind-ups and downs. Stay tuned for more video releases!

For those who would like to 3D print one yourself, you've found the right comment! All the parts for this project are available to download for free on Tinkercad. From there, it's pretty straightforward to building your own! You can find the project here! www.tinkercad.com/things/00hqmroxxCD-federal-signal-2t22-siren-3d-printable

What about the AR Timer, and electrical components needed?
@milespeterson5049Ай бұрын
@@robloxingout2093 I had not intended to share the AR Timer's plans, but I would not mind at all now! Here is the link for the circuit schematic: www.tinkercad.com/things/klOHck80CVi-copy-of-outdoor-warning-siren-emergency-timer-owset-v2 And here's the 3D model for the timer box: www.tinkercad.com/things/8Dg6DEkJiND-outdoor-warning-siren-emergency-timer-owset-v2 Keep in mind that these are a shared link. They are pretty unmarked, so it may be hard to understand some parts of it. If you need any help at all, don't hesitate to ask me! Links needed are provided! Good luck on building your own!!!
