Dr Jordan B Peterson and Premier Danielle Smith discuss the election front in Alberta, the danger of intermittent power as winter arrives, the true utility of oil, and why the press needs to hold themselves to a higher standard once again.
Danielle Smith is a Canadian columnist, talk radio personality, talk show host, and politician, originally from Calgary. There she attended the University of Calgary, earning her bachelor's degree in English and economics. At this time, Smith became active in federal and provincial conservatism, and became the president of the campus PC Club. She also ran successfully for the board of trustees, and held the position for a year. After college, Smith became a columnist for the Calgary Herald. She would go on to succeed Charles Adler as host of the national current affair talk show, Global Sunday, as well as hosting two radio shows focused on health policy and property rights. In 2008, Smith left the PC party to much scrutiny, and joined the Wildrose Alliance. In the course of a year, across multiple elections, she had seen the party support base quadruple. In 2014, Smith once again joined the Provincial Conservative party, citing new leadership had been able to find common ground, with specific attention on economic standpoints. Due to this controversy, she was unable to win her next election, and opted instead to host the radio talk show CHQR, which she would later leave, along with Twitter, in response to egregious internet trolling. In May 2022, it was announced Smith would run for leadership of the United Conservative Party of Alberta, after the resignation of Jason Kenney. On October 6th, with 53 percent of the vote, she was sworn in as Premier.

I'm born and raised in Toronto and I have been advocating for Toronto to join the US as a territory like Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and US Virgin Islands since I was a teenager in the 90s. I don't even know what the term "Canadian" even means?? This is a fake British satellite country. It was created to maintain the British crown. Sadly we had an opportunity in 1776 to be on the right side of history and join the fight with Washington's army and we chose to side with the king instead. Now we're a "country" with zero identity and zero history. My dream is to become an American citizen but I want the city of my birth to become American as well. Why are we still a part of this ridiculous British experiment? Canada is not a real country!! I want my 1st and 2nd amendment rights!!!!

When Daniel Smith introduced the Alberta Sovereignty Act, the first of its kind in Canada, it is a passage typically found in banana republics to undermine democratic processes. It's best example has roots in the Nazi Hitler government's 1933 Enabling Act which Hitler introduced to assume dictatorial rule over Germany. I'm astonished someone as brilliant as Canada's Jordan Peterson doesn't seem to know history to see this. I'm not at all surprised how Albertans will go to the polls to elect an incompetent leader as Daniel Smith who is on record for saying smoking cigarettes is healthy and for claiming to have some native ancestry without providing concrete evidence, and for favouring tax-payer funded private-public school partnerships... not to forget, supporting the defunding of Alberta Parks from her predecessor Jason Kenney who said Alberta parks are underused so some of them should be privatized. He never gave any supporting evidence. Daniel Smith hollers how she is against a "big" scary government yet has put forth the largest-ever cabinet in Alberta history. I don't think many Albertans have noticed that. Just as, many Albertans never noticed how Jason Kenney dropped out of his undergraduate degree at San Francisco University in philosophy, was known to harass female students supporting women's rights, is clearly a closet gay who is conflicted in himself and wanted to out young Albertan students who organized a gay-straight alliance support group, clearly was caught red-handed drinking alcohol on the Alberta sky tower balcony during a strict pandemic while telling Albertans to wear masks and stay at least 2 meters apart... he and Shandro enjoyed being served alcoholic beverages... who paid for this? Kenney insists the taxpayers did not. How? He was the Premier. He was paid by the Alberta taxpayers. Kenney also dismantled the 1976 law to protect natural resources, such as groundwater from contamination by coal mining. I don't know whatever happened to Peter Lougheed's progressive conservative government that made this province one of the strongest in Canada, but good luck to all who cast their vote for Daniel Smith who has already demonstrated deceit and a clear desire for authoritarian rule. I'm not a big fan of Rachel Notley, but the Alberta NDP at least has the decency to support democracy, fund Alberta health (not privatise it), protect our natural resources and not privatize our Alberta parks and public education. I think Peter Lougheed would be voting for Notley in this election if he were alive. I could go on, but let me repeat, for a rightist ideologue who claims to be against big government, she says she has a lot of work to do ... so has the largest cabinet in the history of this province.

I met her during her campaign too. The moment I knew I was going to be a diehard Danielle Smith fan was when the room at her rally turned on her - hoping she would legislate from the top some local problem they took issue to. She’s great, but she’s unfortunately hung up on some crucial things that are eating our country and any genuine possibility of a coherent and cohesive Conservatism alive. Things like ESG and LGBTQ issues. LGBT is fine, but the Q is an ideological swindle and there needs to be a distinction made between genuine, normal gay people and the radical gender-ideological subversion from Far-Left ideologues.

Rather, *let God be found true, though every man be found a liar*, as it is written, “THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED. Romans 11:33 *MERCY TRIUMPHS JUDGMENT* *Torture Doctrine Made up by evil minded men of Rome*- RCC - Many ministers will passionately defend the doctrine of eternal conscious torment as foundational to the Christian faith, and yet not so many dare to preach so much as one sermon warning people of hell. Why? Because they don’t truly believe it. It’s just a box they check on their “belief system.” If never-ending torment is a reality that each human must face if they don’t measure up to some standard of belief or morality, then it should be the most pressing concern of every sermon. Avoiding such a paralyzingly horrifying eternal fate should be the most pressing concern of every person. And of course, as American scholar Hallsted said, “The world would become one vast madhouse if a realizing and continued pressure of such a doctrine was present.” It’s apparently *one of the main reasons so many are leaving the traditional religious churches*. There is *NO RELIGION* in the *KINGDOM OF GOD*. In Matthew 6:10, we see *Jesus teaching his disciples*, and us, how to pray. He said, "*Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven*." Ultimately, we should be looking for *God's will to be done in everything*. *The Spirit of truth* leads all people to metanoia - Repentance - change of mind. Selah.

I'm in Manitoba. Why can't we use our port of Churchill? Our premier recently announced something about that. To me, it seems obvious that western Canada can totally bypass Ontario and Quebec, because we have Hudson Bay. Let's use it! (edit - Yay! It thrills my soul to hear them talking about us. Finally!)

As an Albertan, I’ve never felt better about where I see our province headed. This was refreshing to watch: two intelligent individuals speaking transparently, and openly, about the things that matter to so many of us! Now, let’s sit back and wait for the NDP to start their public outcry and double down on their fear mongering.

I was just thinking that. The NDP have done a bang up job of brainwashing the public sector. It's actually really sick how how horrible these people are. They are greedy, selfish, and really stupid. I mean that literally. And the worst part, is that the NDP's Marxist and communist support base, don't even realize that they are little standing behind the very people they claim to hate. They want to smash facism, while working for the Facists. They want to destroy the rich corporate elites, capitalism and break up the monopoly's and redistribute the wealth and the power, while literally helping the the rich elites and corporations, monopolize nature. Natural capitalism. I remember watching a video Dr.Peterson put out on you tube back when he was still teaching his university classes. It was about these 2 girls in a concentration camp, and the one girl didn't understand why she was there. She kept asking why she was being punished even though she had helped and supported the authoritarian regime to power. She kept crying and freaking out and then they would just crack down on her even more, until finally she started to understand what had happened. The moral of the story was that she was literally a useless idiot, and the regime will turn on the people who helped helped them in the end. Once she was no longer useful, the regime turned on her and threw her out like trash. Every authoritarian regime that has seized power and implemented a socialist or communist state in history, has done exactly that, and all of these little socialist in Alberta, in the indiginous tribes and the rest of Canada, better smarten up and realize that the Liberal/NDP will do the same thing.

A very constructive interview for Danielle Smith, showing her in-depth understanding of Alberta’s plight and energy proposals for a Triumvirate with our neighbours. Quite a contrast in policy to the gloom and doom the media would attribute to her!! The whole interview was very reassuring, very reminiscent of Peter Lockheed’s approach on energy.

I think part of it all goes back to Ontario, being the factory capital of Canada (in the day), and Ralph Klein/Peter Lougheed, saying to Ontario, that Alberta would NOT be sending all its oil revenues to Ottawa, as there may be a future point where they might need some in reserve. Alberta should have as much say as the rest of Canada, and the way Quebec has always had their own way “because they’re French, and will separate” isn’t right. These people on the left are rabid, they’ll see their grandparents freeze in their beds, rather than open the floodgates of resources Alberta has to heat their homes. It is the strangest disease they are inflicted with. I certainly hope someone or something pulls us all back from the brink before we all, like lemmings, go over the edge. 😢

It is time for people to realize th as t our government has lied to us in so many terrible ways.
