My hubby just got one of those calls the other day claiming his son had been in a bad car wreck, was in the hospital ER needing surgery, etc. So he grilled the caller with questions demanding she tell him our son's name, the make of the car, where the wreck happened, what hospital was he in, etc. etc. The caller tried to stick to the script but got a bit flustered. Finally, hubby informed her that we don't have any human children, but our "son" who has 4 paws, whiskers and a long tail was currently laying next to the keyboard, purring and licking the dextop screen 😸, and furthermore he was tracing the call and would be turning her scamming butt 😾 in to the authorities. 😄😂🤣

My mother fell victim to one of these scams a few years ago. As she was explaining what happened to me over ther phone I just wanted to slam my head on the desk at every red flag that this wasn't a legitimate transaction. But, people don't know. The tactics change frequently and the scammers put a lot of effort into making things seem legit, it's hard to keep up. Thanks for doing this and putting these videos out. I'll be forwarding her these so she can see what goes on and what to keep an eye out for. Sad that you have to approach every call with a level of skepticism, but the world is what we've made it.

Love this. Had a scammer call that got so mad that I wouldn't give him access to my computer that he actually threatened my life and that of my family. Thing was, he was working out of San Diego, CA, and didn't know I was recording the call. I'm not that good on the internet, but I managed to find out where this one was. Called the local sheriff's office, who contacted the sheriff's office down there. Within 24 hours, the scam call center guys were ALL in jail! Please, keep doing what you do!

I am an Indian. I have reported more than 10 fraud calls. The police does nothing, most of the time they don't even bother and sometimes they lash out at me saying that we can't do anything unless I actually lose my money. The numbers are still active and scamming people. This is really sad.

I use to get over 20 scam calls a day. Then I started answering my phone with the words. " Sheriffs Office" They say "OH I'm sorry I have the wrong number. I'll take you off my list" I almost never get those calls anymore. lol

So many of them are caught but you know in a population of 1.25 billion there is always that kind of people and jails cant be filled with all of them and the government also will have a problem providing all of them jobs so it is a bit relaxed. Most of these guys operate by bribing the local police station so if there is any raid or something these guys get the tip beforehand. Also if they get a bail then the case can go from anywhere between 15-30 years so that is why. These frauds are blatantly posting advertisement in facebook and they do not even take it down even after reporting
