This is Handloom Weaving of Sinamay made of abaca fiber. My Lola used to weave before. This is our cultural heritage and it now seldom practice for women after being hit and affected by COVID-19 pandemic. Due to in demand nowadays, this is mostly imported for fashion. Missing the old day.

Alam ko to, noong bata pa kami ito ang trabaho namin ng mga ate ko at mother ko. A lot of works. This is made of abaca, laging mayroong binibenta sa bayan namin during market day. I missed those days, ngayon wala na gumagawa nito, pero mayroon naman kapalit sa ibang bayan iyong made of pineapple leaves. Naghahabi sila nito pang export. Gumagawa sila ng mga Barong etc.
