I never knew this but i heard from Japanese people saying this that they tend to walk faster on purpose to race others around them, and Felix saying next time someone tries to pass him he'll speed up reminded me of this. I don't know how much of this is true but it is funny to think about.

7:16 that just *makes sense* because Japanese has quite a few loanwords from Dutch and they also tried learning Dutch back in the days of the VOC. Although not nessacerily connected their "bad english" often ends up sounding like perfect Dutch. So I wouldn't be too suprised.
