Why do russians not think of themselves as "European?" They seem very European to me. Granted they have much land in Asia and being so big, they're only one ethnic component of a larger whole country but still they are European and "part of us."

Most westerners tried to classified them as Asian, even thought they are Slavic, pure european by origins. But most russians dont care about that.

At first glance everything looks like a picture . Nice clear roads, clean streets etc. But where do people park there car's. I did not see one empty parking space. Also, Go out side of Moscow and the citys, roads and infrastructure are falling apart. Putin needs to fix it. Russia is a rich country , WHERE THE HELL IS THE MONEY ?

As a cab driver were there areas that would would not take people or pick them up from? Did you discriminate against picking up any specific people? My friend told me that cabs there have one yellow one white light so that drunk women don't get tricked into getting into cars thinking they are cabs, is that true? Was it true in the past or just a story she told me?
