I love the videos, anything I can learn about this locator is great, I use one for work, not a pro locator, just as an electrician, its a great tool!

You did not mention the milliamps matching the box or your colour coded gain indicator being red/blue or green. Your frequency, hopefully 512 would also keep bleed extremely low .

Great video and thank you. I am using a Vloc2 as well as a 5W transmitter and mainly do cast iron pipe locates. Using the Seenake Ridgid and the camera sonde I am able to locate the head (512mhz). My problem is when I connect the transmitter and ground inside the house. I usually do it the same than you do it in the.ideo, with a long extension outside the house. Sometimes inside the house the signal from the camera cable jumps into the electrical power in the house and becomes impossible to locate the right signal. I also try to use the direct method with he copper pipes inside the house and most of the time I have the same issue. The true I should have bought a Ridgid locator or have somebody experienced in plumbing sewer lines explain me how to use this Vivax locator. For sure to locate pipes outside a house, in the middle an open field, with only a gas line as a distortion, it is a piece of cake and we all can do it ane day. Locate and accurately trace inside a house is another story. Anyways, great video and thanks. You give a lot of tips and we appreciate it

When you ground out in the house you are putting as much or potentially more onto what you have grounded to because it is alternating current. We have a few videos that go more in depth into locating theory and will help but I think you should reach out to your local distributor for some training. Also I would look at our vLoc 3 Pro as the Sonde locating function is amazing. We have a video on it here on our channel.

@@vivaxcananada I appreciate your advice. I will look into, but I have watched most of the videos about theory, frequencies and 99% of field trainings are for outside and none for TRACING inside the house. Locate the sonde I do it all the time and it works perfect with th Vloc2, the problem I have and nobody address it is to ground inside the house. Pull the sonde every 6 feet is a hassle if I am working from the rood by myself and having to go up and down until I trace the whole line.

@@cabezamiami if you are locating the push rod of the camera you should use higher frequencies. Again I suggest you reach out to your local distributor for assistance.
