Thank ya brother! The buckshot inlay is from inside that old shell. I tried hunting with them but the shot was corroded in clumps and some of the brass was splitting.

@@squadfamproductions7936 I'm sorry brother I have retired from doing commission work.... been doing it since 87. I get the reeds from pioneer game calls and they do have both kits and calls. Just use the double Reed and bend the top Reed upward.

Man that was fun to see and learn from. I’ve only ever made a old fox call with limb split into with a laurel in the middle to make dieing rabbit squeals. Thanks for sharing your work, those akern ( acorn) to some folks but those caps are something I’ve never seen. Trapping, hunting, call making and more good ole boy skills.
