Liked! Knew it would be a good episode just by the title. You gave something to think about and like how you kept it real. Excited for the rest of youe destinations, in shaa Allah.

Thank you for the rental insight in Qatar. I am considering hijar to some Islamic countries where I will be able to practice Sufi Tijani. My concern is the cost of living and employment.

I am looking for grits, Malto-Meal, 100% maple syrup, pinto beans, cornmeal, and nutmeg. Anyone know where these can be found in Qatar or anywhere in the MENA? I am in Saudi and motivated to go to whereever is close to buy these products. Thank you.

Too many western and American brands. The mark of the beast, capitalism and consumerism looks to be present and flourishing there. Not for me i want to get away from those things.

Why is his younger guy sugarcoating life in Qatar ...???? If this area was bad and the condition of the apartment was poor, then just admit it, dawg!!! And for this type of area, $1100 is TOO MUCH!! I don't TRUST THIS YOUNGER GUY!

There is no need for this kind of response. The young brother is the son of the older brother. Show some love. The best advice is do your own homework. There is nothing wrong with gaining a perspective from others. Take what you find works for you and simply leave out what doesn't. What the brothers at Make Hijrah have done is beyond commendable. May Allah provide them loads of barakah for striving to help others.

This is the case of Different strokes for different folks. They were not talking about poor condition but rather poor style. I don’t think in Qatar they have those properties like in Egypt and any cause for concern.

If you have experience in Qatar why don’t you share instead of criticizing. The young brother is not criticizing their having a convo. And have differing views.
