I had the same idea. Wanted to review all three books, but you do taht way better anyway! Your video and editing skills are amazing here. I see the effort and the time you put into this. BTW: Interesting how you hold a pen in your hand :D

Great book review! Frankly, I think physical books are here to stay. It is so much easier to reference a project from a physical book than from a PDF. Now this book seem like it's not quite as good as Hot to Cold, as earlier book has plans for each project. Beautiful images are great but without a plan for each project, it's hard to use as a reference.
@BIGSOLUTIONS3 жыл бұрын
this also has plans for nearly every project . . . i am sure you will like it if you enjoyed H2C

Great content! You should review Atmospheres by Peter Zumthor
@UHStudio3 жыл бұрын
That's a great book, yet very different in nature. It speaks about craft, and phenomenology, closely related to Juani Paalasma's eyes of the skin: architecture and the senses. Both highly recommended for any architect to read. Would also love to see Show it Better's review!

Big books are the cheapest arch books i ever had. Great for students. However his firm architecture is not that great. Better get something like "graphic anatomy" from ateleir bowwow.

Do you like Yes is more? The other book of big.
@ShowItBetter3 жыл бұрын
I think when it was published it had something new (for a monograph) and kinda risky. Although the majority olerte unbuilt projects there was a good underlying story. What about you ?

@giuseppenativo21233 жыл бұрын
A very good and straight review. Now i know that it's just another fanboy book from BI. If i really want to enjoy a monograph, i'm going to focus on Architecture Masters, not on a 'wannabe', egocentric, average, trendy architect. I'm start missing Madame Hadid.

01:00, Evolution of human kind... Someone might say ,I do not believe in god but i believe in the upgraded" theory" of Evolution. -Have you seen half-human half-apes? No, -Do you have archeological evidences ? NO, -Does believing in evolution explain your life purpose and justifies your existence ? No, Why would you believe then? Because they said so. GOOD JOB.
