Monbebe there is no leader like Shownu! I'm so spoiled I have literally started to expect content from him like he's not currently enlisted. This was such a fun episode and shows that Shownu was there the whole time in spite of having to take medical leave. For those that don't know, he took a medical leave during the GAMBLER era (Summer 2021) and then left for enlistment

The way Shownu didnt want to stay too long cause he thought him not doing anything would make others feel awkward, the way he talks with sparkly eyes about his brothers performance, and later in the video he seems down while talking about their health and hardships,the way he just radiates so much warmth and fluffiness& showing everyone his tummy to show he has been resting well,the way hes hesitant to trouble others even a little bit..I have just always found him so innocent and considerate and wise and just I would trust this man with my life P.s. im not crying you are 😭😭😭😭 shownu is always with his brothers :"))) we always see the cool stage shownu but his vlogs reminds us that he has different sides (mbb, leader, a professional in his own right, family, himself) to him (as with all humans) and that he's also little cute bear who's wayyyyy too lovable. In comparison to many kpop leaders, Shownu is obviously not like some who are definitely eye catching and leads the group conspicuously and I guess many may misunderstand him as a leader simply because he's not so "out there". But from this video and ofc from other interviews/content, shownu leads! But just in a different way! And his style of leadership is EXACTLY what Monsta X needs, especially when they have members who are extremely outspoken, members who are extremely musically talented, MX is really a group with many strong personalities and dynamic colours, be it obvious or not. That's exactly why Shownu is the best fit because he lets his members do whatever they want to, not because he doesn't care but because he knows and trusts them, treats them as equals (professionally or individuall) and give them their own space to grow individually, rather than to tie them down to a fixed image set by maybe the company or the group themselves. As a leader, he is fair in that he wants to put every single member out there and ensure that everyone is seen by the public eye, even if that means that he has to take a step back. That's a good leader there y'all. In some interview, I rmb some members mention that the final decision always lies with shownu and that also goes to show how much his members trust him and respect him. He may not be the one who jumps in to resolve and even things out when there is a heated discussion among the members but he listens, carefully and then makes his decision. Like what the other members have always said, he's that dependable leader. To end this off, I think that when a leader is a leader that the team NEEDS, he/she is a good leader, even if the definition of "good" differs because how can we put a universal standard to what is define as good?
