It was veteran Stayadev Dubey’s play that brought them together and it is theatre that is a big binding force in the ‘happily-ever-after story’ of actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah. Have you watched 'Idhar Udhar'? In that drama Ratna Pathak played a role of a girl who is beautiful but dumb whereas Supriya Pathak played smart and intelligent character. And we all know what was the role of Supriya in 'Khichadi' and Ratna's in 'Sarabhai'!!! Talented sisters!

I just love Ratna Phatak Shah... From the good old Idhar Udhar days on Telly, I was besotted by her... Got a chance of meeting her at the Mami film festival held at Ravindra Natya Mandir... where Naseer was felicitated...i told her how much i loved her as an actor... Recently caught her at Prithvi performing Ismat where she was the sutradhar... I think she is one of the best actors in India...

Together they are one soul.Very recently I got a chance to see the movie Waiting where Naseer Saab worked with Kalki. Kalki is a good actor nodoubt but Naseer Saab was simply superb.
