This boat build is without a doubt THE finest, and most quality-filled jobs I have ever seen. What you have done is to create a custom fishing craft that exceeds the quality of the top of the line bass boats available. ie Phoenix, Ranger, Skeeter. I am in the middle of renovating a 35 year old Fisher Marine Gray Thunder bass boat. I am reconfiguring the interior in order to add a rod locker and more dry storage space, as well as a 3 bank on board charger. I am also strengthening the transom in order to replace the 35 year old 70 hp Johnson outboard with a 90 hp 4 stroke Mercury. You have given me some incredible ideas whereas I can end up with a tournament boat of higher quality than a Tracker, Alumacraft, or G3 at a fraction of the price of purchasing one of those rigs brand new. Thank you for this video and may the Heavenly Father guide you in your endeavors.

I like the fact that you took maintenance/upgrades/future options into consideration on this build. Too many people overlook this aspect when making any kind of modifications and it just causes problems down the road. I'm going through this now with my boat, making the changes I need to considering that this boat will stay with me for many more years to come. Yeah im trying to make custom boat work that is top notch not something cuzin Eddie down the street did that is considered CuzTum. But yes, factory stuff isn't always the greatest, just like spec homes in mass produced neighborhoods typically don't compare to a true custom built home by a reputable builder.

I have basically the same boat in the sea nymph 175. How much weight do you think the new decking and framing added? Do you feel that riveting framing and decking would hold up to the same boat with a 70 hp outboard installed? I want to redo the layout of mine but just don't know about added weight and structural rigidity. I wish I could pick your brain for a hour about this.
