I learned a lot from this, thanks. You can only record SCENES under the very bottom part of the desk under the word "SCENES", faders 1-12 BUT the PAGE button 1,2,3,4 means 12 under 1, 12 more under 2 etc, so 48 total. My only comment was that to actually get mine to program I had to press the MODE SELECT light to get 1-24 lit. Something to think about if you are struggling. Of course the one thing missing is how you set the lamps in the first place to work off the desk....back to you jbaileypro but otherwise excellent, thank you,

Thanks for the great comment. I will try and get some videos up soon. I hope the my new video on the explanation of DMX helps a little with the foundations. I feel I can now follow on and make some videos about addressing and using more intelligent fixtures such as LED Par Cans. Thanks again!

This. Did you ever find this out? Would be useless if you can not use all 24 channels

I'm also wondering this. If I have fixtures bound to the bottom row how do I play back a scene without it coming on?

is there a way to make timed recordings, so everything runs automatically, eliminating the need of human input, this would be very helpful for dance shows et al.

Hello, dear jbaileypro! I am sorry for my very bad english! I would like to ask you for help. I had written a program to regulate the lamp № 1 Channel sliders 1, lamp №2 Channel sliders 2 ... Lamp № 12 Channel sliders 12. Inadvertently deleted the program. Now I can just turn on the lamp№1 by holding Flash-buttons 1, the lamp № 2 Flash-buttons 2 ... the lamp №12 Flash-buttons 12. Channel sliders to adjust the lighting, I can not. Please tell me how to program a control lamp Channel sliders.

How do moving heads handle on this controller... is it easy ?? Thanks for the video's... like the table :)
@jbaileypro9 жыл бұрын
You can but it isn't designed to used like that. Many moving lights can require 20 channels each. If your spending decent money on some intelligent fixtures like movers I would suggest looking at something like an avolites console.
@SuperSnaky9 жыл бұрын
+jbaileypro well the movers are dry hire.. But need te be programmed also.. If a mh has 20 channels, it should be no problem since this deck has 24... or does it ???Thanks for the quick response!!
@jbaileypro9 жыл бұрын
Yes it does have 24 channels (there is a 48 channel version too). The fact is that they are not designed to control movers. DMX is DMX and won't care either way but they are much hearder to programme in Chase mode. Have a a look at a magic q from chamsys or avolites titan dongle. Just about any pc can run the software and the dongles are cheap as chips to buy. What are you using the mover for?

+jbaileypro I want to make a 1 time beacon on top of our truss / stage construction for an outdoor gig. nothing fancy though.. just a slow moving light in all directions with a white beam. I can borrow 2 phantoms with 150W HTI.. they have 9 channels I think.. I will look into the pc software... I had an eye on cuelux.. That looks very easy to use, however... I need to do a lot...LOT of RGB led parcans.. Not really sure what's easier to program... This table looks very easy to program on the spot.. When full on software I need a free hand for a mouse etc.. I am more of a button guy ;)

+SuperSnaky I've moved on a lot from the simple lighting stuff and only really get to use a professional bits of kit. The professional lighting controllers are have a steep learning curve for a beginner though. I would imagine that most DJ lighting software can do what you want. Especially for many LED washes and simple movers. I found this by another really good KZbinr. I've never used the software myself but it looks really easy and I bet it is very reasonable price too! kzbin.info/aero/PLX80zlUzaSJnImlvLkzCVLAjY6LC6QhX4

Can i control LED's on the showmaster?
@jbaileypro11 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Simply use the faders to control the settings of the LED light. I should be getting a video up soon about using it with some LED Par Cans.

Brilliant videos Thanks Question does anybody know if or how submasters can be programmed and run on his desk. The user manual is most unhelpful
@Kholaslittlespot13 жыл бұрын
If you mean can we have fixtures on the bottom row and still record scenes on those faders I think you can. From what I can tell you need to hit record step once while in single preset mode, then switch to scene/chase mode and bind it to the submaster there. I think!!
