Of all the things Ernie is famous for, I find the fact he calls people (like John the example he gave) to help them with their cancer the most respectable thing about him. It's small things like that which show you the true character of someone. As big as EJ is, as successful as he is, the fact he will give time because he believes he has a responsibility to help randoms with their cancer, it is so humbling and admirable to hear it. A true role model. Thank you EJ for sharing that.

Damn Ernie got me in tears…my mother was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma a few years back…I had 2 young daughters at the time…I’m actually the one who shaved her head when the chemo was making her hair fall out….thankfully she’s been in remission for about 3 years now but it was definitely a rough time…but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel

Such a beautiful mind mixed with such an outgoing, expressionate, and intuitive tone. I have watched and loved every show Matt And Jack have done but Ernie's episode was the best one ever, I mean I can't think of the last time I actually shed a tear, I mean I know I have a big heart n I'm very respectful and a good person but when I get older and I'm getting close to checking out of this body I can just hope I had just a tiny piece of that dudes heart. That was a great interview and all the emotions were felt in this one and Matt and Jack are definitely on their way to being legendary interviewers I mean I always have loved this show and they have always delivered but this episode you can tell they are on the next level of the interviewing game.
