Pantene products are really horrible I would never put them on my hair. They coat the hair with disgusting materials derived from silicone that iare practically impossible to get off. Loads of horrible build-up. Steer clear!

silicones like dimethicone in Pantene aren’t the villains they’re made out to be… they rinse off with regular washing and don’t cause buildup if you’re cleansing properly… as someone training to be a formulator, I’ve used overpriced luxury haircare too and now know better. most formulations aren’t much different! silicones are safe, effective, and perfect for smoothing and protecting hair… let’s not fall for the fear-mongering!

@Shrads I haven't fallen for any fear-mongering, I know the science. Human hair is much healthier without a silicone coating. Let's not fall for the marketing spiels of the likes of Pantene who are seeking to make a swift buck. Not everyone who falls for Pantene's whitewashing knows that by using their products they are wrapping each strand of their beautiful natural hair in man-made plastics. I'm just trying to make them aware of that fact.
