Hi bitkaster, 2 weeks later now, my beard is touching the floor but I am happy that I watched all your tutorials about shreddage. I need a coffee now, bought one for you too! I still have one question about your layering video where you set up the four guitars and pan them L/R. I cannot find this video anymore. I saw you had all guitars set to mono in Neural DSP. Is this the way to go when it comes to paning? Do you always leave this setting on mono, even if you are mixing/mastering? Is turning them to stereo technially wrong. I am a bit confused because I think they sound better with stereo when i try this at home. But maybe I am doing sth wrong?

About layering, I think you can find it in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWHNl2hom8iXpLc About mono, actually, I have no technical reason for using mono, I'm using Soldano preset in all my videos and Neural DSP Soldano is using mono as the default setting. But If you find stereo sounds better for you, go for it man, enjoy what you like For the most part, I want to know how good these plugins are out of the box, can whether these plugins (the guitar and the amp) sound good without complicated settings because in my opinion there is no point buying plugins if we end up in never-ending twisting knob to achieve good sound from the plugins. So that's why mostly I'm using pre-made presets that are included in the plugins, I use the presets as a base and then tweak them to my taste if needed Cheers !!!

@@bitkaster Hi, yes nice there it is. I scrolled so many times through your Video Section but could not find it. The reason I was asking is because I have a similar point of view about plugins. Right now I am testing the Neural DSP and I am quite happy. I was only curious if it is technically common to switch between mono/stereo as one likes. Thank you for your detailed answer!!!
