Apparently there was a shrek fighting game way back in the gamecube era (Shrek Super Slam) so I decided to re-experience this game I played like twice in my life when I was a kid and brought King of Skill with me for this adventure because why not. Fun fact, there's a proper competitive scene for this game, and there's legitimate tech in this game as well. There's even a banned character because they could prevent the opponent from playing and have an infinite

Shrek fun facts: Puss in Boots wasn't meant to be a Spanish character! It's originally of Italian origin as an the oldest written telling version is Costantino Fortunato (Italian for "Lucky Costantino") by Italian author Giovanni Francesco Straparola, included in The Facetious Nights of Straparola in the 1550s. However, the French version of the tale told by Charles Perrault in 1697 is more famous. So why is Puss in Boots Spanish in the Shrek franchise? After they casted Antonio Banderas for the role, they watched his performance in Zorro and inspired by his performance, they opted to make the character Spanish so Antonio better fits the role. Shrek took four years to animate. Not only that, but the movie was in production since 1991, so Shrek’s gestation period was exceptionally long. Chris Farley from SNL was the production’s initial choice for the role of Shrek. The titular ogre’s character design even contained a strange resemblance to the actor. Farley got as far as recording somewhere between 80-95% of the movie's dialogue before his untimely passing. Myers originally gave the ogre a Canadian accent, but when he noted that fairy tales are quite Eurocentric, he changed to a Scottish accent part way through production, thus all his lines had to be re-recorded.

"Looks like Humpty Dumpty had a big fall, baby"...well played. That was still some eggscellent gameplay by Humpty Dumpty! Human Fiona versus Ogre Fiona is the most important battle in gaming history. You got your game on and go played, so no matter what people say, you're an All Star! But it all makes sense now that Brent is Puss in Boots, no wonder it took him a chase by a wolf to realize he's not immortal. Though we respect him for fighting for the people! Don't let this distract you from the fact that it took only four days for Jennifer Saunders, the voice of the Fairy Godmother, to record her part in the movie. Meaning she absolutely destroyed the recording studio during her performance of Holding Out for a Hero like nothing! That scene in Shrek 2 is truly a masterpiece that belongs in the Louvre.

Oh yea, that's definitely a parody of the Disney version of Quasimodo. DreamWorks has made fun of Disney in the Shrek franchise on purpose. When DreamWorks was founded, it was made up of former Disney animators who left Disney because of former CEO Michael Eisner (Defunctland's favorite person to talk about ;)). And so Shrek is meant to be Disney animators making fun of Disney. They've continued the tradition of making fun of Disney in the franchise like Fiona throwing Ariel like nothing in Shrek 2 and hiding lots of props from Disney movies within scenes in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Heard of this game but never played it (Came out on October 25, 2005 in North America, which was just 4 days before I was born). I think I saw it once on a WatchMojo list for calling it weird. I find it blursed. Humpty Dumpty looks quite terrifying but was surprised how some characters like Little Red Riding Hood is broken and sad how Shrek is in D-tier. The video is entertaining to watch, especially when fighting over who’s the king of the hill

I'm pretty sure it was the same Shrek fighting game that I've played on the DS. Though I read the Wikipedia page about it a bit and I didn't recognize some of the character names on the list of playable characters, and I remember finishing all the stories and essentially the game. And I remember the missing Fairy godmother's wand for some stories, which ended up in a kinda innocent looking buttplug joke since it was stuck in Shrek's butt?🤔 I don't remember that well so idk.
