Wow, I actually prefer this scene a lot more than in the final movie. It just tugs the heartstrings more and emphasizes Shrek's further reclusiveness and loneliness.

Beta Fiona looked so gorgeous! I prefer her design over the one we got at the end. Would've been interesting to see the I Feel Good Shrek and this version of Fiona in a movie!

This movie would've have been god-tier if they used this design for fiona and cast a professional british voice actress for her. Unfortunately, the tech wasn't really there for long flowing hair yet.

Thanks for uploading. If I was to take an education guess, this is the Chris Farley version of Shrek, I suppose. And we have a few scenes in the storyboard that was in the final cut. This must be the version of Shrek who wanted his swamp, and not the one who wanted his swamp back. Of course in this version it looks like after gaining his swamp or land he’s all alone and miserable unlike Mike’s Shrek who seems somewhat content (the candle earwax scene) at the beginning of the movie. It also looks like in this version Lord farquad kicked out the fairy tale creatures (Snow White) in order to give Shrek his swamp instead compared to the final production where they were forced on Shreks land causing him to get his swamp back.

I don't think the Fairytale Creatures were a part of the Chris Farley version. This might actually be from an early draft of the Mike Myers version.

Looking on these behind the scenes and the Shrek that almost wasn’t, I would’ve prefer this version more now. Also, while Shrek may have a home, he doesn’t have someone to share it with and isn’t pleased with it.

Am I the only one who prefers this Fiona design over the one in the actual movie? She looks less uncanny. But I think these storyboards were based on the version we got after Farley's passing because Shrek looks more like his final design.

I'm pretty sure Fiona's early design was actually more realistic than the final one. I remember one of the director's mentioned that in the DVD commentary or maybe in the behind the scenes

Shrek is very sad, He miss Fiona very much, he finally understands that he feel in love with her, Fiona her too understands that she made a mistake by agreeing to marry with Lord Farquaad 0.30 0.39 and 1.12 i love when going from Shrek to Fiona sign that they are made for each other, this song is very beautiful, i would very much like to be in the place of Fiona, she understands that her life's love was not Lord Farquaad but Shrek, because she accepted him as he was and him too, he accepted her , I love this scene
