Shri. Nikhil Ghorpadkar Pakhawaj Solo Vadan 2019

Shri.Nikhil Ghorpadkar is a well known Pakhavaj player from Maharashtra (India) , and has enchanted audiences all over the country for the past one decade. He belongs to the illustrious unbroken tradition and family of pakhavaj maestros. Beginning from his late forefather Pundit Shankar Bhaiyya (Ghorpadkar) to his world renowned grandfather Late Pundit Vasantarao Ghorpadkar and now himself, Nikhil is carrying on his shoulders rather efficiently, the mantle of his forefathers who pursued and spread the Panse Gharana of Pakhavaj. He has also expanded his musical horizons through training in the Kudau Singh gharana which he imbibed from the late Pundit Ramakant Pathak of Lucknow.
